At level everybody else powers up (3rd level spell slots, Extra Attack, etc). Half damage from anything other than psychic cannot be overlooked. I agree, though, that Paladin is essentially the best all around class to have with a 6th level cap, assuming of course that the party already has a skillmonkey. As a monk you would have 6 ki points that you could use for flurry of blows, giving you 4 attacks per round, if you decide you want to use stunning fist instead you still have 3 attacks, more than any other character. ![]() Because reasons. Could also go with a Divination Wizard with the Lucky feat and just anger everyone with how ridiculously lucky you seem to be. Depends greatly on DM, scenarios, party makeup, etc. Share Report Save level 2 Original Poster 4 years ago Very true, I just meant in peoples personal opinions or for whatever reasons 1 Share Report Save Continue this thread level 1 Bard 4 years ago Sorcerers are no more powerful than Bards, Wizards, Druids, or Clerics.which all get abominably powerful once they get third level spells. Of which Bards and Druids are actually more-powerful since their range of spells allows tactical control, buffing allies, debuffing enemies, or blowing shit up. They are both also more-durable than Sorcerers, having either a higher AC to be hit less-often or an entire freakin animal mode they can activate which gives them not only the HP but attack ability of the beast they wild-shape into. But the biggest problem I have is that if Clerics and Wizards have unfettered access to any level of magic despite the fact that these are some of the most-powerful and most-iconic spellcasters in the game then the DM doesnt give two shits about whether the class out-powers other classes because hes already explicitly allowing some of the most-powerful magic be available.
